Henna is made from the ground leaves of a henna plant, harvested during its peak season. My henna paste is natural and fresh. I make it with sugar, citrus and essential oils.  There are no chemicals- such as you find in “red henna” or “black henna”. The final color is red-brown, varying on your skin type, color, and henna care.

About Henna

How it Works

Henna stains the skin for 7-14 days.

The paste dries in 20 minutes and must remain on the skin for 4-6 hours. The longer the paste stays on your skin, the better stain you will receive. It is a practice in patience.

Remove the paste without water. Scrape it off or use an oil to soften it. Avoid water on the area for 24 hours.

To care for the henna, you can apply oils- like coconut oil, shea butter, or argan oil. Olive oil will work as well.

The stain will initially be bright orange and then develop into the final red-brown color.

Wear your henna with love, joy, and respect.
